Fibre separator is an equipment designed for inertial pre-filtration of dusty air containing a great amount of waste material: it’s a static machine made up of a upper cylinder (inlet air) and a lower structure with a filter sleeve separating fibre and dusty air. Air gets through the filter while fibre is stopped and conveyed to the bottom through an inertial effect: dusty air moves forward to filtration system, while the most voluminous waste on the bottom is suctioned by a fan (fibre-transport kind), and is sent to a waste recovery system.
Every separator has a door on inlet air side to correctly calibrate the equipment and to guarantee the right inertial effect.
Fibre separator is built in two different types, the open type (A) and the closed type (C). The first one needs a containment chamber directly connected to filtration room, while the second one can be put in room and connected to central through a pipe. There are four different sizes for every kind of fibre separator, according to processed air flows
