Self-Cleaning rotation filter MN is an equipment designed for filtration for great air flows in which textile fiber is contained: it is made up of a metal structure and a perforated cylinder, which is rotating due to a drive mechanism. Dusty air gets through the cylinder (from outside to the inside) and exits from the head of the filter after getting cleaned, ready to be expelled, recirculated in room or headed to a conditioning system. Filtering medium varies depending on the application, on the material and on the air flow (ad example, it can be in polyurethane, felt or fur) and is installed on the cylinder surface, getting suctioned by translating nozzles put on the metal structure, which move horizontally along the cylinder due to a second transmission mechanism. The combined rotation and translation guarantee a full cleaning of the filtering medium, and gathered material is conveyed to a dust collector.
Rotating filter can offer a great alternative to cartridge filters in non-textile plants, ensuring a considerable cost downfall and a longer lifespan. Maintenance and handling are comfortably made in the frontal area (which is clean air exit side) with running machine. This is a modular system, based on 4 diameters: filter can be built from one to four modules for every diameter, in order to best fit plant characteristics.
