Semi-centralized Air conditioning system type SMS is specifically planned for air conditioning with air flow ranging between 10.000 and 50.000 m3/h, and over-saturated air injected: therefore, is particularly ideal for highly wet environment. It is composed of a foil modular structure, and insulated panels, and it can be hanged or leaned on a wall, as it doesn’t require masonry works. There are different types of this system according to the plant: in fact, this unit is composed of different basic parts which can get combined to create an equipment with different features.

Supply box, inside of which axial supply fan is located (with watertight engine and spraying nozzles);

Mixing box with dampers for air regulations and mixing;

Return box, with an axial fan or centrifugal fan to suction air from room;

Drop separator (to install if humidification is required) composed of a metal frame where pvc flaps are located, which contain extra drops

Filtration box with variable static filters according to plant and environment

Inspection door to guarantee access to all components for maintenance is provided for every box: if humidification is required, a water supply tank is also provided, where waste water gets conveyed from supply box and drop separator, in order to reduce water consumption.

This unit may also have heating unit (steam, water or electric), and may also have a pneumatic or electrical control system.
