Pre-filtration
N35 disc prefilter
The disc pre-filter is a device designed for the pre-filtration of dusty air containing large quantities of fiber and/or other waste material. It consists of a metal structure, a wheel, and an air inlet plenum. A nylon disc is mounted on the wheel, which separates the fiber from the dusty air. This is sucked up and cleaned by a nozzle fixed to the structure, directly connected to a material transport fan that collects the waste deposited on the nylon and sends it to a waste collection system. The rotation of the wheel ensures continuous and effective cleaning, and the distance between the nozzle and the nylon disc prevents accidental breakage or cuts. A rubber dust strip installed around the perimeter of the wheel prevents dust from escaping and makes the pre-filter housing waterproof. An inspection door is installed on the external structure to allow access for any maintenance operations.
The disc pre-filter is available in 3 different diameters and is particularly suitable for systems with a high amount of dusty air.
