The prefabricated metal airwasher is a machine designed for air conditioning systems with large air volumes. Its modularity and construction using modular panels allow for significant savings in terms of construction time and reduction in masonry and waterproofing costs. The water tank is made of stainless steel, while the infill panels and roof are made of galvanized sheet metal (stainless steel is available on request). Inside the spray chamber, a PVC pipe system is installed to transport water from the tank to the spray nozzles, which atomize the water, humidifying the air that passes through it. An air straightener and a droplet separator are installed at the inlet and outlet areas respectively. These are made of PVC fins, extruded according to a specific aerodynamic profile, which straighten the incoming air and retain excess droplets at the outlet.

Each airwasher is equipped with two pumps (one for each ramp) with pressure gauges and anti-vibration couplings, and static filters with micro-stretched mesh are inserted inside the tank to stop any impurities from circulating.

The air washer is available in numerous models and, thanks to its prefabricated construction, is well suited to customized solutions. In addition to the textile industry, this type of washer has also been used in the food industry for air conditioning in wine cellars and breweries.
