SMS type semi-centralized air conditioning unit
SMS semi-centralized units are designed for air conditioning volumes ranging from 10 to 50,000 m³/h, with oversaturated air intake, making them ideal for environments with high humidity. They consist of a modular aluminum structure and insulated panel infill and can be hung or placed on the floor. Thanks to their lightweight, modular construction, they do not require any masonry work. They can be manufactured in different versions depending on the type of system, from a simple replenishment box to complete filtration, air mixing, and air conditioning equipment. These units are made up of basic elements that, when combined, form a machine that can perform various functions:
- Delivery box: contains the axial delivery fan equipped with a sealed motor and spray nozzles that humidify the air
- Mixing box: equipped with dampers for regulating and mixing the air
- Return air box: with axial or centrifugal fan that draws air from the environment
- Air straightener: made with a honeycomb structure to correctly direct the air flow
- Filtration box: equipped with static filters that can vary depending on the type of environment and processing
All tanks are equipped with inspection hatches to ensure accessibility to all components in case of maintenance. In case of humidification, a hydraulic feed tank is also provided, into which the water collected from the drains inside the delivery tank and in the droplet separator is also conveyed, in order to minimize water consumption. They can also be supplied with steam, water, or electric heating coils and can be equipped with a pneumatic or electronic control system.
