Pre-filtration
Fiber separator
The fiber separator is a device designed for the inertial pre-filtration of dusty air containing large quantities of fiber and/or other waste material. It is a static machine consisting of an upper air inlet cylinder and a lower structure equipped with a nylon filter sleeve that separates the fiber from the dusty air. The air passes from the inside to the outside of the sleeve, while the fiber is stopped and conveyed to the bottom by inertial effect. The dusty air continues towards the filtration system, while the bulkier waste collected at the bottom is sucked up by a fan (fiber transport type) and sent to a waste collection system.
Each separator is equipped with a door on the air inlet to allow for the correct calibration of the machine and ensure the right inertial effect.
It is available in two versions, open type (A) and closed type (C). In the first case, the machine requires a containment chamber directly connected to the filtration unit, while in the second case, the separator can be left in the room and connected to the unit via a connection or channel.
Four different sizes are available for each type, each with its own range of treated air.
