Filtration
FRI self-cleaning internal rotary filter
The FRI Internal Rotary Filter is a device designed to filter large quantities of dusty air containing textile fibers and/or other waste materials. It consists of a modular structure made of sheet metal and metal tubes, inside which the filter element is installed to form a cylinder. The dusty air is conveyed to the inlet and, passing from the inside to the outside through the filter element, is stripped of the dust and waste material it contains. The filter element, which can be made of felt, fur or other technical materials depending on the material being treated and the quantity of air, is constantly cleaned by a system of suction nozzles that rotate around the central shaft and move horizontally across the width of the element. The combined action of rotation and translation ensures complete cleaning of the entire surface and increases the longevity of the filter medium.
The filter can also be installed in an environment without a containment cabin, as the air exits the filter septum completely clean and free of impurities. The machine is equipped with a safety system that detects the correct functioning of the internal rotation and, for special applications, a blowing system that ensures constant cleaning of the movement mechanisms.
This equipment is manufactured in three different diameters, and each diameter is available in different sizes, all of which are modular, to best suit the quantity of air being treated.
